... ouch

I'm not sticking around for the next 4. I refuse to live misrepresented. I refuse to swallow a daily dose of deceit. I refuse to grow into an old, fat, balding white guy who wears a tie, hits his kids on the side of their head with a 2 x 4, and secretly loves to hate black guys. I refuse to live as an asshole under the guise of Christianity. I refuse to preach family values and brotherhood and then live in a gated community and shop at strip malls. I refuse to squander my compassion and intelligence just because I love to watch the NFL, eat apple pie, drink cold beer, and worship the God of my choice.

The rich have bought Christianity, but the meek shall inherit the earth. If I'm wrong then I'll watch the NY Yankees in Hell. In the meantime I'll see you wherever W isn't -- and when the meantime is six feet under, I'll still see you wherever W isn't.

(I don't want to but) I'll compete (and I'm smart enough to do damage).

Throw your TV out, turn off your SUV, pick up a recently unbanned assault rifle. Do what your conscience says.

I think every democrat should send a message today by going out and buying an assault rifle. You want fear? We'll give you some fucking fear!

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes
Everybody knows

yeah, not to cut in on the FUCKING ANGRY thread, but, like, Bush is now officially only a figurehead, he's done in 4 years unless he finds a way into dictator for life Big Brother style (which I can't rule out) ...

I've seen a few moderates point out that violent rhetoric in general probably alienated more swing voters than it endeared - not that I wasn't out drinking and shouting "fuck Bush" the last 2 nights myself

I think the general mood / intelligence of the country has been greatly mis-estimated, and we need to find the root of the problem if we're going to correct it - it ain't Bush that's the matter, tho he's the most visible icon to hang it on

We need another "Freak Out!" Kudos to Eminem for trying, but it was too little too late and too humorless for many, I'd guess - granted that you & I see it as a humorless situation

We could use some polarization of the issues - running Kerry as "at least he ain't Bush" was never fair to Kerry or the American People either, 'cos what good is a president nobody actually wants?

But dig - leaving the country only helps THEM! I was born here, I like it here, I will not be driven out by fascists! This is my country, and about half of it agrees with me on one or two things that matter

Five, are you talking the preview formatting?

Posted by: TQ @ November 4, 2004 11:43 AM

no, the actual page - all the paragraphs stretch off the right side of my screen over to Miles' room and I have to scroll three miles to read them. Maybe I need new glasses?
